Ripping Music from Myspace

Using http://www.myspacemp3.org/ lets you rip and music that you want directly from Myspace. The interface is simple, but it was a bit confusing in figuring out what to type for the band ID. It is actually quite simple.

I wanted to download a few songs by James Holden. First I found James Holden’s profile. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=76802360
Now copy the friendID. For James Holden that happens to be 76802360 as seen above. Log into http://www.myspacemp3.org/ and type in 76802360 for the band ID. After clicking “Get Songs”a list of songs will appear. Simple right click, download and enjoy.

How to Kill Your Blog Traffic

Yesterday I didn’t update my blog at all. The result? A further downward slide in my traffic. I have learned my lesson. Keeping a blog updated daily, but not with just random nonsense is extremely important. I notice when I have had a bad blog day, my traffic significantly slips. This means that less people have visited my site = less cash comming in =bad.

The Life in Germany Vs. Click for Nick
If my two websites were to battle it out, I honestly think that my website The Life in Germany would win. Why? The Life in Germany is much more unique than Click for Nick dot Com. The reason has to do with differentiation. Click for Nick simply is not as unique as The Life in Germany. The key is not to be like everybody, but actually to find a niche market to target. Click for Nick still has a chance if I stop writing about the same things everybody else is, and really find some new and creative ideas.

Another way to make money…

I am commenting on another website that pays for opinions because they have been sending me the most surveys. Everyday Surbeyspot sends me a new survey. Some of the surveys are actually entertaining too. Today I just did one about the new shows comming out on ABC. The survey took about a half hour, but I recieved $3 for it.

Unfortunately you have to wait 3 to 4 weeks to see the money. But when that time comes, you will have a whole extra $3 in your account. What am I talking about? There must be a better way to make money then just filling out surveys…
