Your Page Rank is one of the factors that determines how your website stands in comparison to the millions of other sites out there. Using Live Page Rank I was able to determine that overall this website is rated very poorly, not even in the top 100,000 websites.

I signed up for http://sitening.com/ and then was able to get a view of my Google Page Rank. The site has a lot of tools designed for SEO (search engine optimization.) I would recommend using their backlink analyzer to see what areas you need to improve on.

How to increase your page rank?
This question is not at all simple. I would recommend most of all to get backlinks.

1. Backlinks are links to your site on other websites. Having all my friends link me on their site has helped boost my site a small amount.
2. Try listing your site on DMOZ. DMOZ is looked at by google when determining page rank.
3. Get an Alexa traffic graph. This lets websites know that you are reaching a certain amount of traffic each month.
