The 17 Year old Blogger and the 4 Hour Work Week
Published by Nick on December 2nd, 2007 | Tagged Random, motivation

The 17 Year old Blogger and the 4 Hour Work Week are two stories i like to think about in my own personal blogging persuit. If they can do it, I can do it right? I like to use them as a way to keep motivated and know that there are other people out there, who aren’t even 30, by comming up with new ideas that in turn generate millions.

The 4 hour Work Week
The 4 Hour by Timothy Ferriss is a book I’m currently reading. I picked it up from my favorite resource, the local library. Tim went from $40,000 per hour and 80 hours per week to $40,000 per month and 4 hours per week. Quite an improvement right? The book itself I would call a self help book. Timothy Ferriss outlines just exactly how you can make your day productive and perhaps in time, create your own 4 hour work week. Timothy by the way is only 29.

The million dollar 17 year old
Ashley Qualls is a 17 year old who started the site whateverlife.com when she was only 14. Already she made more than $1 million with myspace layouts. After her website took off, she dropped out of high school and bought a nice house just outside of Detroit. When offered $1.5 million and a car of her choice–as long as the price tag wasn’t more than $100,000, she rejected. Smart move, as her company currently continues to make her more than that 1.6 million she was offered.
