I can’t stress enough getting a domain when first starting out a website. Nothing is better for Search Engine Optimization than yourdomain.com rather than yourdomain.blogspot.com.

SampleaDay’s Free Domain Name Giveaway
SampleaDay, one of my other co-projects is giving away one free domain in its first ever contest. Qualifying is very simple. “Simply write a review of SampleaDay.com (along with a link to sampleaday.com) on your blog or add our link to your web page. Once you have done that, post a comment on the giveaway post found here (along with the link to the web address where you posted or linked) for your opportunity to win. Why Create Contests?
Contests are a great way to increase subscribers, gain popularity, create new back inks, and give back to your readers. The main question is, is it worth it? Make sure when making a new contest to measure its effectiveness. Measure how much you paid for each review and new subscriber. How many reviews will SampleaDAy receive in exchange for the chance to win a domain? I will report back on February 5th with the results.
