Some of us just might not have any friends in real life. We become overjoyed from receiving just one facebook message. Fear not, one great way to learn internet secrets and have a few extra friends to chat is by making friends out of your “competitors”.
Make Friends not Enemies
There are many similar blogs out there that in many ways could be considered “rivals”. Rather than fearing their presence or trying to get head to head in an internet marketing challenge, I’ve been learning to embrace their presence and make friends. Take the creative force over at VHXN.com. I recently started chatting with her, and in return, we’ve traded links, email addresses. I’ve also done this with a few other “competitors” out there on the internet. By making friends with these blogs, I can discuss with them what they are doing to earn money from their blog, and maybe find out a secret or two.
How to Make Blog Friends on the Internet
If there is a blog out there you like, don’t hesitate to send an email. Most of them are nice
enough to send you a response and maybe invite you to add your screen name to their buddy list. I also invite anyone who wants to message me to send me a hello greeting at nks278 on yahoo or cantrollmyrs on aim. Use this if you have any questions regarding my site.
Use basic friendship guidelines, be curious, but respectful. Don’t send a million messages or start stalking.
