Why do I use feedburner? There are a number of reasons why using feedburner is helpful for a website.
1. Connect people with your website. How many times do you just visit a website just once and forget about it? By using Feedburner, anyone interested in your website can receive emailed updates rather than having to remember to visit your website for new content. It also will give you more loyal visitors.
2. More Feedburner subscriptions = more returning visitors. I’ve noticed that, the more Feedburner subscriptions I have, the more direct traffic I receive. Though traffic from google and yahoo is nice, what happens when search engines stop sending you traffic?

Monetize Your Feedburner Subscriptions with Bidvertiser
Did you know you can also make money from your subscriptions? Bidvertiser is now offering a new service that lets you add ads directly to your Feedburner subscriptions. After you sign up for a publisher account, click on their new public beta program that lets you add Bidvertiser ads to your RSS Feeds. Though I haven’t tried the program yet, I’m looking into as a new option to gain additional funding to support this site (and my recent craving for German beer).

After signing up you will need to verify your feed, which I’m doing here: BDV-646788-BDV . It’s as simple as writing a post and submitting the given code into your latest post.
