Suze Orman release her book “Women and Money” as a business pdf book for free on Oprah.com and since the release over 1 million copies have been downloaded. So men might be thinking, oh a free pdf book about “women”, but don’t let that stop you from downloading the free ebook. Money is essentially money, woman or not. Suze Orman is an internationally acclaimed personal finance expert and her book “Women and Money” definitely will provide a few good tips about being wiser with your money, woman or not.

Why Release her Business Book Free?
“I believe `Women and Money’ is the most important book I’ve ever written,” Orman was quoted saying in a statement released Saturday by Winfrey. “So this was not about getting people to buy the book, but getting them to read it, and that was the intention behind this offer.”

Will this Hurt Book Sales?
Most worry that taking a traditional book and bringing it online will hurt sales of the paperback book. But, this is not always true. The 911 commision report was released as both a paperback book and a free pdf, yet sales of the paperbook were not effected by offering the free pdf. I think the main thing a free pdf provides is a way to “preview” the book. No one really wants to read 200 pages or more on their computer. Most people I believe do give in and buy the paperback. However, I’ve been known to print 200 page books in order to save money on the $20 paperback.
