Did you know Google handles radio ads too? Neither did I. After recently creating my Google Adwords account, I found an option to create my own radio ad that will be broadcast across the FM radio station of my choice. Not only that, but you can work with specific advertising adgencies to get your ad read even by a celebrity like Burt Reynolds if you want.

Google Print Ads
Not only does Google do audio ads, but even print ads. When did Google start branching out? It seems that Google has the entire advertising industry covered. With Google Print ads, you can have your ad sent out to newspapers nationwide.

Loss of Ad Control?
Of course with these ad methods, you won’t be paying per click, but rather based on a number of 1000s of views. This options do seem tempting, but overall it feels like I’d have less control over my advertising campaign. Consider that with Google Adwords, you can control your ad very specifically, even based on people only from a certain city. Let’s say I open up a new movie theater in Detroit, Michigan. I can make sure that only people from Detroit see my ad.

My recommendation?
Though there are plenty of advertising options, if you are a small operation like myself, there is not too many ways better to advertise than internet advertising. I want to spend $3 per day on my ads, not $300.
