Overall this was a very interesting month. Though I didn’t quite hit the $2000 I wanted, I came quite close on this income report. Another $60 and I would have hit my goal of $2000.
Problems this month on the income report:
Adsense was not performing as well as it has in previous months. Is it time to find a replacement for adsense? I will give adsense another month to redeem itself before I pull the plug.
What I learned
Finding advertising for your site will ultimately pay out more than adsense or even adbrite. I was lucky enough to find a sponsor willing to pay $335 for advertising on this site. All the biggest earning websites use sponsors rather than relying on the unpredictability of click through advertising like adsense.

New projects
I’ve started a large “clip” website called ShowtheClip a site covering celebrity news, funny clips, and so forth. After only 4 days we’ve reached 320 visits and 500 page views.
