McDonald is encouraging blogging with its new station M internal blog. The blog is designed to allow effective communication between crews of Mc Donald’s around the world and of course the headquarters in Illinois.

With the blog, employees can start writing their own content, participate in Mc Donald’s discussions. Some topics to be included will be of course products, new promotions, operations, and just personal and non business issues. Like most blogs, Mc Donald’s will encourage comments on the blog posts.

Is this station M the ultimate step toward improving business through blogging? Customers aren’t the only important part of Mc Donald’s success. Without hard working satisfied employees, Mc Donald’s would have a real problem. Unsatisfied employees will generate a negative message to customers. With user feedback on corporate blogs, Mc Donald’s will not only be able to hear any problems being experience in its Mc Donald’s franchise, but be able to create a closer community of all its employees. Maybe all corporations should communicate openly with blogs rather than just individual emails.
