When people ask me what my profession is, I tell them I’m a blogger. Sometimes it makes me feel like a rockstar. There are so many benefits with blogging, that you just can’t compare it to any other job.
Benefits of BloggingÂ
1. Travel. You don’t have to live in any one location. Since becoming a full time blogger, I’ve traveled to places in Germany, Italy, and been able to fly home, all the time while earning money.
2. Work when you want. I don’t have to work from 9 to 5. I punch in when i want, work as long as I feel is necessary. I’ve worked as little as half an hour some days and 10 hours on others. All the meanwhile earning over $100. (income is not fixed on an hourly wage)
3. You don’t have a boss. I write whatever I want. No one tells you do this and do that, you just do what you feel is necessary.
4. You always earn money. I earn money 24/7 even on holidays. As long as the internet is open, I keep earning money. Keep in mind that once you write an article it is always online and can keep earning money for you far into the future.
Negative Aspects
1. Stability. How stable is your job? One bad move could cost you everything.
2. Predicitability. Though I can pretty much predict my income, I couldn’t tell you what my income will be in a few months from now.
3. Stress. Though blogging can be easy at times, there are times when I get stressed coming up with new topics. Everyday you have to come up with new and relevant information.
