Blogging isn’t only great for home use, but it works great for companies. Company blogging is a great way to connect directly with those who use your products andblogging

  • Keyword strategy Company blogging should start with a keyword strategy, just like SEO
  • Introduce a corporate blogging policy Companies do percieve risk in letting personal blogging unfold. Make sure you set clear guidelines and rules.
  • Use a ‘human’ voice People like a human sounding blog. Don’t be afraid to give a personal touch to your blog.
  • Post regularly If you don’t post regularly, readers are going to lose interest in finding the same content day after day.
  • Be authentic Don’t create a fake blog with apparent “people” who say your company is just great. Once it gets out that this blog is a lie, things won’t be pretty.
  • Allow user comments Onee great way to get valuable feedback is through users comments. Users are usually honest. Make sure to monitor feeds to avoid swearing and unwanted comments.
  • Acknowledge mistakes Face up to your mistakes and let customers vent. Here is your chance to say “Yes I was wrong,” and take responsibility for your mistakes.
  • Read other blogs See what other people are saying. What do other people think about your company?
  • Blog design Keep everything the same. The blog should remind people of the companies main website and image. Use similar logos so that the blog identifies directly with the company.
