What a crazy month and a wonderful adsense income report for March 2008.  This was my highest income report by far for adsense.

Adsense: $1,616 (Better ad placement leads to better adsense earnings). Sign up

Chitika: $1,400 (This was a new addition to my blog, and it’s now become my second largest income generator). Sign up for Chitika

Referrals: $200 (Revolution Money Exchange had a great referral program ($10 per signup! Plus they give $25 per member who signs up, a pretty sweet deal.) Find out more

Freelance Writing: $100 (I like to freelance write every once in awhile, it’s fun). Find a Freelance position

Payperpost: $50 (I did one or two posts, but stopped because any post under $150 seems like a waste of time).

Total:  $3366 (a new high grand total, yet still not enough for living the “blogger dream”).

Wow Nick congratulations!. They are some significant numbers. You are well on your way to reaching your target.

Looks like adsense ads in those positions are winners, what kind of traffic were you getting through to see those results?

Nick, you didn’t say nothing about that 180$ day. I’m waiting for almost a month for that info ;) All I know is that adsense was only 40$, what about the rest of 140$ in that day ? Also, give us some numbers, how many uniques visited your site(s) in march ? Thank you.

Great info Nick! Best of luck with your ventures. I started blogging at the end of 2006, a personal blog (boring). However, one of my articles had a Top 10 list and garnered a great deal of traffic..The next day I created a second blog focused on Top 10 bs and celebrities news..Traffic grew overnight, along with income..I went from making a few dollars a month with my original blog to making several hundred dollars a month with the new one..However, Google payouts can be extremely fickle..be warned!! Looking back, one thing I would have done differently would be to diversify income streams. After a year of pulling top searches from Google Trends and writing crappy stories, I finally buried the site. Bored to death with it..No real content, just 1k hits daily. I just started a new project called ILovePhotoblogs.com..Not sure about how to grow it going forward, but photography is something I enjoy. Check it out and send me some pointers if you have a free moment..Another program I have found to be profitable besides Google Adsense; Shopzilla has been excellent. It’s a pay per click format. My experience is the clicks payout around .25 cents per. Depending on your niche, this was a whole lot better than the .05-.15 range from Google.
