Best of luck with your ventures. I started blogging at the end of 2006, a personal blog (boring). However, one of my articles had a Top 10 list and garnered a great deal of traffic..The next day I created a second blog focused on Top 10 bs and celebrities news..Traffic grew overnight, along with income..I went from making a few dollars a month with my original blog to making several hundred dollars a month with the new one..However, Google payouts can be extremely fickle..be warned!! Looking back, one thing I would have done differently would be to diversify income streams. After a year of pulling top searches from Google Trends and writing crappy stories, I finally buried the site. Bored to death with it..No real content, just 1k hits daily. I just started a new project called ILovePhotoblogs.com..Not sure about how to grow it going forward, but photography is something I enjoy. Check it out and send me some pointers if you have a free moment..Another program I have found to be profitable besides Google Adsense; Shopzilla has been excellent. It's a pay per click format. My experience is the clicks payout around .25 cents per. Depending on your niche, this was a whole lot better than the .05-.15 range from Google. Great info Nick! Best of luck with your ventures.
