There’s no blogging major in college, blogging isn’t listed in the business section, and not many speak about a career in a blogging business, yet still there are those out there paying the bills from blogging, working at home or wherever they want, solely from their computer. What about these 6 figure bloggers living out their dreams?
3 and 4 Figure Hobby BloggersÂ
I know plenty of 3 and 4 figure bloggers. It’s not uncommon for a blog to make at least $100 a year. Sure that is only about $8 per month, but when it pays hosting costs and the cost of a new domain, that might be all it takes to make a blogging hobbyist happy.
5 Figure Blogers
I fall into this category. I pull about $40,000 a year writing this blog, (if I continue on my current trend). Another Nick, Nickedup started pulling in 5 figures from his blog after a year of writing. The moral of the story? It could take even an entire year to become a 5 figure blogger, don’t give up!
6 Figure Bloggers
Welcome to the crem de le crem of Blogging. These are the guys with more influence on the Blog O Sphere. Take Darren Rowse of ProBlogger.net. He’s started out humbly and worked his way to the top. Take the Manalo from shoeblog.com. He just started writing about shoes and slowly, but surely became a 6 figure blogger. Though it is possible to become a six figure blogger from just one blog, many have multiple successful blogs. (Something not so easy to achieve).
So what’s the difference between them and you? They keep up to date on the current blogging trends, they put in 9 to 5 hours on their website just as if it were a normal job. They work hard to achieve what they earn, there is no magical formula or easy make money scheme. Just hard work and patience are the keys to become a 6 figure blogger in the new business of blogging.
