Many people think that a blogging business is just point and click, write some articles. The trouble is, they don’t find pleasure in what they write. During their blogging, all they do is write some half thought into articles just to earn some money, I mean if it pays, and pays well that’s all there is to it right?
No Pleasure, No Gain?
Readers will see if you really care about what you write or you just write to get something down so you can just earn money. As a blogging writer you should be trying to establish a bond with your readers, something that will really help a blog grow. Readers can usually see through your act and will realize you don’t really care about what you write.
Try writing about what you are passionate about, what you life, make gives you your kicks. Why not write, but have fun while doing it?
Mixing Business and Pleasure
Definitely a must. The best working experiences I’ve ever had were when I looked forward to going to work. Working doesn’t have to be depressing and certainly not boring. I enjoy what I write, I mean for me it’s a great way to clear my head and share what I’ve learned. I’ve got the music blaring in the background. I’m eating Nachos, glancing over at the Tube, anyone who sees me probably wouldn’t even believe I’m working.

Couldn’t agree with you more. You have to be into your work..If you love what you do, you’ll never “work” a day in your life. One other point I might add…It is difficult working in seclusion. If you find yourself getting burned out from endless writing, pull back the writing a bit and reach out/read other blogs. It is refreshing to chat with other bloggers. I guess this would come under the “life balance” heading. Best of luck, Nick!
