How to Steal Internet Wifi access, be a leech
Published by admin on April 30th, 2008 | Tagged frugal

Stealing wifi internet access is definitely a way to be a leech, getting internet for free, while your poor neighbor pays for access.

Arguments for stealing internet wifi access
In the case that people leave their wifi signals open for anyone to log in, you might argue that it’s fair game, their signal crossed into your property. I’ve used this argument for the last few years, getting even free internet access in my apartment. But, if you’ll remember a case a few years ago, a guy was arrested for stealing internet from his car outside someone’s house. Ok, so it’s a bit different when some guy drive up in his car than stealing wifi from behind the comfort of you own home…

Ways to Steal Password Protected Internet Wifi
These methods are very questionable, legal wise, but still they will allow you to break through almost any password protected wifi router. Air Crack NG is one method for breaking through that password. You’ll find a guide here that will take you step by step through the process. Keep in mind that not everyone’s wireless router will be supported.free wifi

Get Wifi Internet Access Free, Legally
You don’t want to pay, and you don’t want to steal (you angel), well your next best option, coffee shops, libraries… or even malls. So it sucks leaving the comforts of home, but keep this in mind. It’s like being social while surfing the internet. I’ve often just gone to a coffee shop to do my work since I feel a lot less alone, and sometimes I even meet some cool people!

    1. Moldova Online Says:

I think that connecting to the internet from your house through your neighbor wifi internet access is not illegal. To bad that non of my neighbors have wifi internet connection.

    2. bVisual Says:

I know that several individuals in my neighborhood have unsecure connections. I choose not to use their connection BECAUSE it is unsecured, leaving your data “hanging out there”. Besides, I DO believe it is wrong to use a connection that others have paid good money for. When you jump on someone’s personal internet connection you can have an impact on their speed. I think the average user just doesn’t understand that they have the option to secure their connection.

“When you can’t be there, bVisual.”

    3. Dave Says:

You dickhead. You have that sense of entitlement that says “what’s mine is mine and what’s yours is mine” and that anything you can steal belongs to you. Go fuck yourself.
      You belong in jail.

    4. jake Says:

“you dickhead” you have that sense of self righteousness that says “i can pass judgement over the internet through my veil of annonymity” and that anything you disagree with is wrong. go jump off a bridge. you belong on a short bus.

    5. Anthony Says:

Anthony says you all need to except jesus into your life say the sinners prayer if you wished to be save recite this prayer. “Dear lord jesus, i accept you into my heart, i know that you are the son of god and that you died for my sin come into my heart come into my life, i will serve you and live for you Amen.”

    6. glorrr Says:

you shoullllld not steallllll! no matter how bad you want something.

    7. Funny Says:

Jumping onto anyone’s connection won’t slow them down unless you download or stream video, jackass.

    8. jeff Says:

If I leave my window blind open and change my clothes in front of it and my neighbor sees me naked but I didn’t want them to is it my neighbors fault. We are so quick to blame everyone else for our ignorance, when we are to blame. Think of it like this. If I have a lantern and a flashlight that I uses to see in the dark with and you need to tie your shoe, and use my light from the lantern that I am already broadcasting out there for instead of using a flashlight. are you stealing my light, shame on you.

    13. Daniel Says:

Some people pay money for downloading. Connecting to someone elses internet is pretty much downloading slowly off their internet thus making them pay money.

    14. jd Says:

internet should be free anyways – the idea that we should pay for everything is how corporations scam people into giving up their real power. if you want to finger someone a a crook, start with ur isp.
