Guide to Accepting Yourself

Tuesday, April 22nd, 2008

This is my short guide to accepting yourself. Sure we all get depressed, and often you might not like yourself. Accepting yourself is one important step towards being happy and being successful. It’s difficult to hate yourself and be happy…

Accepting Yourself as a Success
You might often see yourself as a failure, nothing you ever do is good enough. Instead of focusing on this negative image, focus on the times when you have been successful. Imagine that time when you succeeded.

Accepting Yourself: Self Confidence
It’s easy to let other people tear us down. Maybe you’ve been rejected in dating, maybe someone called you a bad name. Don’t worry about these people. You wouldn’t want to be around these people anyway. It’s often not the way we look that’s important, but the

smile

radiance of success we carry with us. People will often want to be around a successful person, rather than someone who’s always depressed.

Accepting Yourself by Being Happy
Though they say it’s money=happiness, it’s not money that makes people happy, it’s what

you can buy with money. But, put money aside, a great way to make yourself happy is

simply by helping other people. Simply helping people has so many positive aspects. You’ll find a reason for living, you’ll feel good inside for helping someone else, and you’ll meet a lot of friends. If you ever feel truly depressed, simply volunteer! You’ll realize there are people that have it a lot worse than you.

Blogger Burn Out, When Bloggers Get Burnt Out

Monday, April 21st, 2008

I’ve got it, it’s the blogger burn out, where you can’t write anymore!  As Bloggers tend to churn out articles day after day, they are sure enough going to get burnt out.  I’ve been burnt out plenty of tims and starting to feel the symptoms of Blogger Burn Out coming again…

Symptoms of Blogger Burn Out
1. Inability to concentrate when writing

2. Articles become short and boring

3. Inability to add any sense of humor to blogger posts.

4. Banging your head against the keyboard screaming at the computer.

Solutions
1. Take a vacation.  Don’t even think about writing.

2. Be Lazy.  Just sit around, read, or do something completely non productive.

3. Go running.  I’ve often found this a great way to relieve stress and clear your mind.

4. Hold off on publishing.  Write something, stop, do something else then come back to it.

Keep in mind that you don’t have to hit that publish button.  If your work sucks, don’t publish it.  Sometimes no content is better than crap content.  Or, have someone read over your work… In the worst case scenario, it might not hurt to hire a writer to publish for you, while you get over your blogger burn out.  Let someone else write your content during your downtime so at least your blog keeps progressing while you recover…

Be careful… blogging could kill you?

Spam, is spamming a profitable business?

Monday, April 21st, 2008

Spam, it now account for 65% or more of all emails sent… With so many emails sent, is spamming really a profitable business?

Stock spamming
ZDNet wrote back in 2004 “a spammer who owns 1,000 shares in a company sends out an e-mail saying “buy these shares, they’re about to really take off” and if enough people are tempted it not only become a self-fulfilling prophecy but it makes them a tidy packet in the process.” Spammers would tell everyone to buy a certain stock making the prices rise, often the strategy has been successful prompting everyone to get right out and buy a certain stock.

Is Email Spam profitable?
Email spam is all about getting the message out to as many people as possible. Though you might think that no one is gullible to fall for spam… Keep in mind..

There are more gullible people on the web than you think…

New people are joining the internet everyday, many of whom who probably can’t distinguish a spam email or for another… Or just imagine if you send out millions of emails, at least a couple have to be interested enough to click on to that spammers website. All it does is take some good ad placement and it’s the perfect strategy…

spamming

Many types of spam businesses
Spam isn’t limited to just email… telemarkting is a form of spam, just as junk mail in your post office, and not limited to spammy myspace profiles, or just comments that are all spam related.

As long as spammers turn massive profits, it’s not going away anytime soon, as we adapt to internet technolgy… so will the spammers…
