You started blogging about your favorite topic… It’s been a few months and you’ve been waiting ever so patiently for a fan base to read your current blogging topic, but it never seems to happen. Can you just give up and change your blogging topic?
Reevaluate Your Blogging Topic
Do you really know about the topic as much you thought you did? Maybe you really liked your topic, but you just weren’t an expert enough to be an official source. Sure I like tennis, but my knowledge of the game is so limited I wouldn’t be able to write a credible blog. Sure the same goes for Making Money Online. Sure we all strive to do it, but are you an expert enough to be enough of a credible source for it to be your blogging topic?
How Much Information is Available?
So you found a great blogging topic and you know everything about it, but how much information is there to write about? Writing a daily blog means having a ready source of information available. I’ve already started to experience this with my VOIP blog. At the beginning it was easy enough to find topics to write about, but even though I know how voip works, there is actually a very small amount of Voip news to cover.
If you’ve noticed that one of the two things are true, it might be time to change your blogging topic. First let you current readers know of the switch and gradually make the switch into a new topic. Keep in mind, this might not be possible based on the domain name…
If your current domain name is free-voip.info, it might be hard to switch into a blog about horses, but you could switch from voip gadgets into more of a provider news focus. Changing blogging topics doesn’t necessarily mean switching the entire theme, just redirecting the focus…

Hi Nick,
Yes there is no point in writing your blog if you don’t have the passion or information to go with the subject you have to be constantly writing about.
I hope this inspires a few more people to find their own unique voice in the blogosphere
