I feel suprised when I hear about blogging that’s even being required in the workplace. Blogging is a new characteristic of Web 2.0. Though we’ve had the days of online journals keeping a personal account of your daily life, blogging is more than that. Though it’s a little less personal, blogging is focused usually on a certain topic, whether that be photos, internet television, or just free samples.
Blogging Required for the Malaysia Ruling Party
Take the Malaysia ruling partying forcing candidates to keep blogs. “Abdul Rahman Dahlan, secretary general of the United Malays National Organization party’s youth wing, said all those vying for national youth posts must have blogs to introduce themselves and their programs ahead of party elections in December.” “All candidates must have blogs,” Abdul Rahman told The Associated Press. “If not, they are not qualified to be leaders.”
Celebrity Blogging
It’s become even easier just to keep tabs on the thoughts of our favorite celebrities. Kayne West recently open up his own blog, http://www.kanyeuniversecity.com/blog/ where he posts about all kinds of random stuff… Pitchfork media called it “a nerdy-ass blog”.
Is this your time to shine? Starting a blog is easy, it’s fun and you can put minimal effort or a lot… it may even be time to get started. You never know when your workplace is going to start requiring blogging as well… Read one of my earliest posts, how to start a blog.
