“Blog wisely and avoid using the medium to spread rumours.” according to Raja Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail.

Of course his advice is true since, it’s quite easy to spread false rumors when blogging. All it takes is the misrepresentation of a fact, wrong information, or even slandorous rumors designed to hurt someone. Though it might seem fun at the time, posting rumors are an easy way to discredit yourself as a reputable blogger.

Blogging has the potential for both good and bad and spreading rumors is one of the easiest ways to cause harm.

Think about all our facebook pages and how easy it would be to spread a rumor about someone. The fact of the matter is, if you wouldn’t say it to them in person, then avoid saying it online.
