Find your niche
Some of the top blogging successes are technology and gadget blogs, and probably what most bloggers choose to write about since it’s easy, and there are plenty of topics to write about. Keep in mind that whatever niche you choose, you should have plenty to write about. You don’t want to run out of topics or get burned out trying to find new topics. Some topics that seem to work well are celebrity blogs, eco blogs, or just blogging about something you are passionate about.

Finding your audience
You need an audience who’s going to want to read your blog day after day. Consider also the posting style. Will you write day after day or a few short long posts per week?

Rolling in the Money
You need to find the right type of advertising. If you write about products, then stick with a product advertiser like Chitika. Though many would recommend waiting until you get established before advertising, I’d start out from the very beginning. Though you might be dissapointed with the amounts you earn from the start. The trends will really surprise you as you start to increase your earnings each month. Make sure to diversify your ad programs and not just stick with just one advertiser.
