Traveling can be fun, but you might not be expecting the costs that come with traveling. As I learn each time I travel, each trip can lead to plenty of unexpected costs such as 1. food 2. transportation 3. nickle and diming. 4. getting robbed? 5. forces of nature?

Unexpected costs of traveling to New York City
When traveling to New York City, you should realize all the little costs that seem to add up. Drive there and you’ll hit toll roads, you’ll have costs of parking your car, traveling on the subway, and of course little side trips in museums. By the end you might have accumulated more than $100 of unexpected expenses.

Expect the Unexpected Costs of Traveling
Make sure to budget in these unexpected costs. Nothing is more annoying than feeling like you’re getting nickel and dimed.

Enjoy Your Vacation
Even when the unexpected costs seem to add up, don’t worry about them. Rather than trying to go frugal like I usually try to do. Enjoy yourself. A vacation isn’t about worrying, rather relax, spend a little more than usual, since everyone should feel like a rockstar during their trip.

Take Care of Your Blogging First
If you blog like me, I’d recommend getting everything posted BEFORE traveling. No one wants to work while on vacation. Make sure you’ve got all your usually stresses taken care of or find someone else to take care of them.
