Twitter is a great tool for micro blogging. With Twitter, just a few words can mean a whole lot. Take blogging where we write long articles, make sure everything is well thought out and proofread. All you simply need to do on twitter is simply write two words to describe your life.
Twitter, the free (at present) service which lets you send a 140-character message, or “tweet”, to a site where anyone can read it, though it will only be sent directly to those who have chosen to “follow” you (though if you want, you can pick and choose who you allow to follow you).
How is Micro Blogging on Twitter Useful?
Take the case where a student was arrested in egypt where he was managed to send out a the words arrested. The message is picked up around the world and in the end a lawyer hired by his University.
Besides for extreme cases like the previous anyone can follow up on your life in your short micro blog. In many cases I find it much more convenient than traditional blogging.
