When coming up with a new domain, here are some words of advice.  Do not ever search for your domain using godaddy or network solutions.  What they will do is buy the domain right from under you if its a good one and then try to resell it to you at a premium rate.  Which of course, sucks.

The solution? Moan and groan at the place that bought your domain till they give it up.  Most times they’ll reserve it and if you call soon enough you’ll be able to get it back.
