Feel tired after sleeping a full 8 hours? One of the reasons for your morning fatigue is often the overnight fasting that took place while you were asleep. Â When you sleep you’ll often have lower blood sugar making you often feeling tired when you wake up.
1. Try consuming 1-2 tablespoons of flaxseed oil before going to bed.
2. Try eating a small snack before you sleep. Often I’ll eat a small non-fat jogurt with some orange slices or some nuts. Nothing too fattening, but something that will get a little extra food in your stomach before you sleep.
3. Take a nice ice bath before you sleep. Try sticking some ice in a bathtub and then sitting in there a while. Studies have shown that a cold bath helps bring the onset of sleeping. (It takes awhile to get used to it.)

Some interesting tips I always believed that it was a hot bath that made one sleep better, I have also experienced waking up feeling just as tired as I was before going to sleep, going to try eating something small before going to sleep and see if that helps a little.
