We all hate spammers, but even so, what kind of punishment is fit for the spammer who fills your mailbox up with clitoral creme? Robert Soloway was arrested in 2007, but never payed a dime of the settlement. Instead the spammer kept on spamming until he got arrested again (don’t people learn?)
The Government is asking that he receive 14 years, but the Judge is struggling with the issue. Maybe there is something a bit more creative to impose than just jail? Wouldn’t it be ironic is he was able to spam from jail as well? The sentence commences on July 22.

Will be interesthing to see what sentence he gets. I watched a documentary on Spam made a few years ago by the CBC yesterday which I found really interesting. It’s crazy how some of them made millions and never got in any trouble. I suspect it will be harder from now on with all the recent laws. I surely hope so as I still receive hundreds of spam a day.
