You’ve seen the blogs that offer free ebooks for subscribing to their rss, and their is a good reason for this, it is a proven fact that giving your subscribers an extra reason to subscribe to your blog will improve RSS Readership.
1. To gain more RSS Subscribers to your blog, see what exactly you can offer. This doesn’t always mean something of monetary value. I’ve often written ebooks, taking the best articles I’ve written and then compiling an ebook.
2. Many blogs offer contests that you can only win if you are subscribed to the blog’s rss feed.
3. Make sure it’s easy to subscribe and the place where you can subscribe is well visible. Usually the top right corner does well for me.
