I’ve been experimenting with website translation recently to see it’s effects on website traffic.  There are plenty of wordpress plugins out there to translate your blog/webpage, but often these aren’t permanent translations or listings.

My idea on how to translate your entire wordpress blog or webpage

1. Either hire someone to create a script to create you an entirely new blog or go step by step translating your blog.

2.  Google translator works well, it helps especially if you know the other language you are translating into.  I know German, but I’m too lazy to manually translate each article.  I just fix the obvious mistakes and post the new articles.

Some Language Statistics
English has only 30% of internet traffic. Chinese maintains 20% of internet traffic. Spanish is an entire 6.8% percent.

Just by merely adding Chinese and Spanish you are almost doubling your total possible internet traffic.
