With the The Large Hadron Collider getting turned on Wednesday, many fear it will be the end of the world. The Large Hadron Collider is supposedto create minature black holes that will will be so minute and last not long at all. But, as some have feared, perhaps they won’t dissappear and it will suck of Geneva and Europe, maybe the world.
Deemed as the world’s largest experiment, the Large Hadron Collider cost $9 billion, took 20 years in the making, and is the result of the workk of at least 7,000 scientists from 60 countries, even with some scientist spending an entire career on this project.
The launch is on Wednesday, which will begin the start of the experimentation. The biggest question it is expected to answer: What are the origins of mass in the universe?
