When I need more backlinks for my site, there are a number of ways to spread your links around and effectively earn a better pagerank. A few of the easiest ways we’ve found to get extra links for your website is to use social sites.
1) Hubpages.com - Get links back to your site by writing featured articles promoting your site. Make sure to write at least 200 words per link or they might mark your article as spam.
2) Google.com/Knol – I’ve written knol articles to my site. They are highly valued by Google, almost as much as wikipedia.
3) Wikipedia – This method is tricky and doesn’t always work, but often if you can get a link if you link back to your site as a source by writing a wikipedia article.
4) Commenting on Blogs – Find blogs on BustaBlog.com, Wordpress.com, etc., and include your link in the comment. Keep in mind that comments should make sense and be a decent comment on the actual article or most likely your comments will be marked as spam.
5) GoArticles.com – Simply write a goarticle, add your link, it’s that simple.
6) TradeLinks - Start trading links with other websites and build a seperate link directory on your site with people with whom you’ve traded links.
