Can You Get Paid to Click? Paid to Click Programs

Sunday, September 28th, 2008

Can you really click and get paid for it? We’ve heard of internet programs that pay you to click ads, but are these scams, or real?  In the past we have tested a few programs that paid us to click and we did get paid, but how much was our potential per hour with these pay per click programs?

Becoming a ChaCha Guide
I got paid to answer questions that appeared on my screen with ChaCha.  Usually 15 cents per short answer.  In the long run, if I worked diligently I cold earn about $6 per hour.

To sign up to get paid by ChaCha visit ChaCha.com and click sign up to be a guide.

Agloco Paid to Click Program: Not Being Paid to Click?
Agloco is an example of a get paid to click program that couldn’t deliver on it’s promises. They promised to pay you a sum of cash as long as you ran their software. In the long run, they couldn’t make any payments and ended up actually losing money in their actual service. Never sign up for a pay per click program unless you are absolutely sure someone has already earned cash.

Other Pay Per Click Programs That Could Work:
There are other sites such as paidtoclick.com, paid to read emails, etc, that offer you cash to read emails, click ads, etc. Keep in mind you won’t earn more than even a cent per click. Often the amount of spam you receive, the time it takes per click, you can’t earn more than a few dollars an hour. Maybe if you live in China, this is a deal, but overall we’ve noticed that most of these programs are time stealers more than anything.

Stay at home mom and really bored? Great, then sign up. But or the rest of us, Paid to Click programs offer nothing more than non productivity and a few cents for our efforts.

How to Make Your Own Energy Drinks and Bars

Saturday, September 27th, 2008

We’ve noticed how expensive Energy Drinks and Bars can be, so we’ve decided to make our own, to help keep energized as we blog.  Sure we’ve spent two bucks on that Monster energy drink and $1.50 on that energy bar, but that all ads up. Keep energized and make your own drinks and bars.

How To Make Your Own Energy Protein Bar

The food network has a great guide on how to make a protein that is not only easy to make, but can be cooked in a little over a half hour.  This will create 24 (2-inch) squares.

How To Make Your Own Energy Drink

Making your own energy drink can be easier than you think.  Using ingredients we already had at home, we were able to create an easy to make energy drink.

  • 1 can orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • water

Skip the Energy Drink and Drink Water

Drinking water has plenty of benefits.  Water is in itself an energy drink.  Water provides: 1)Healthier skin 2)Regulate body temperature 3) Stay energized: We lose 10 cups of fluid a day and filling and we need to replace that water to stay alert and energized.

Best International Wireless Internet Plans for Mobile, Laptop WIFI

Friday, September 26th, 2008

If you travel, you realize that having a good international wireless internet plan can be critical for your business.  As I blogger, I want wireless internet wherever I am, so whether I need to answer an email or blog another post, I can.  The Best Global Wireless Internet Plans are getting cheaper and cheaper as more mobile companies create plans that cover you, wherever you are on the planet.

The Best International Wireless Internet Plans

T-Mobile - T-Mobile has already developed Global Internet Hotspots across the planet, in coffee shops, airports, in Europe, Asia, and North America.   Hotspots include: Starbucks coffeehouses, Borders Books and Music stores, FedEx Kinko’s Office and Print Centers, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, Red Roof Inns, Sofitel and Novotel Hotels, the airline clubs of American, Delta, United and US Airways, and select airports.

Global access can get pricy, paying up to .15 cents per minute to access the internet.

Boingo - Boingo has one of the largest international wifi networks, with one cheap price.  They’ve mainly covered airports and hotels across the globe.  In the United States, they’ve generally covered McDonalds, hotels, and airports.

Currently Boingo has a 30 day trial for windows mobile phones which seems like a good deal especially if you have any upcoming trips. It’s only 7.95 per month for global access on any smart phone.  Just connect your phone via active sync and most likely you can share this connection with your laptop.

Anyone explain why Moscow has 10x as many Boingo connections as any other city?

ATT International – DataConnect Global Plan+ $139.99 per month
Take your laptop with you for all of your data needs when you’re traveling outside the U.S. This plan includes: 5 gigabytes (GB) of domestic U.S. usage with $.00048/KB overage.

The Att International Wireless Internet Plan leaves you untethered letting you access the internet anywhere you are, but runs extremely pricey.  5gbs goes quite fast.  If you can afford it, go for it, but I’d recommend buying an extra wifi service as well to offset using up that 5 gb too fast.

The Future of International Wireless Internet Plans

In the future there will one day be a wireless internet plan that spans most of the globe, and is affordable.  There are already plenty of hotspots available now.  It is only a matter of time when we see internet plans on cellphones that cost as much locally as for international.

The Best Home Blogging Office, Office for Blogging

Friday, September 26th, 2008

Getting your own so called office for blogging, is actually important as a blogging office seperates your work from the bedroom.  Those who blog daily from their room, might notice that the always feel somehow connect to their blogging, from when they sleep to when they wakeup.  This morning I even had a bad dream about my blogging sites crashing.

Seperate Blogging from the Bedroom

If you blog fulltime and in your bedroom, you might, like me find yourself having trouble sleeping.  It’s almost like sleeping in your office.  Whenever I’m lounging in my room, I often feel the need to blog and work since my workplace is in the same room.

The Dream Blogging Office?

The easiest way to reduce stress, and the feeling that you need to work, is to find a way to seperate your blogging from the bedroom and into a so called office.  A blogging office could be your kitchen, living room, or an outside coffee shop.  Often I’ll take my laptop and head over to the local Biggbys Coffee to blog (since blogging at home has enough distractions).

What About an Outside Office?

The fun part of blogging is that your office can be anywhere you want, from the living room, to that park outside.  As long as you have an internet connection, the world is your office.
