The exchange between the dollar and Europe’s euro keep falling, actually to the delight of Adsense publishers from Europe as they earn higher adsense profits due to weakening Euro. If you didn’t know, Google converts from dollar to Euro when paying adsense publishers. The Euro has been plummeting against the dollar, mainly due to the fact that the situation in Europe is even scarier than that in the USA.
If the US economy was solid the exchange would be even worse, but since the US isn’t doing too hot either, at least Europe Adsense Publishers won’t have any trouble finding love for the current exchange rate (unless they are planning a trip to the US).

Crash and burn?

“the situation in Europe is even scarier than that in the USA.”
yeah, right. The US with 13.000 billion dollars in debt and Bernanke’s answer to “just print more money” backed by totally nothing is really reassuring for the US economy.
I think Europe is better in dealing with the current economic crisis by actually facing the problems. Hence a lower Euro now. Don’t be surprised if the situation turns the other way around the coming months.
