NBC Pulls Obama McCain Future Ad

Obama recently played an ad portraying the future with McCain as if McCain won, which NBC immediately pulled off the air, stating the ad broke copyright claims. The Obama team failed to discuss the matter before hand, thus making NBC pull the Obama Ad featuring a future with McCain.

According to AdWeek: “The ad, titled “Bad News,” is designed to get out the vote by appealing to voters and potential voters who do not want John McCain to win the election. At one point, NBC’s Tom Brokaw and MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann are shown — with Olbermann announcing that McCain has “won.”" I’d love to show you the ad, but even I can’t seem to find it.

This just goes to show you that even political candidates can’t break copyright infringements and neither should you. If you are a small I’m sure no one might bother, but keep in mind if you steal content it might not be as easy as taking it down…
