Yahoo 1.99 Domain Scam? Yahoo Domain Overcharge
Published by admin on October 3rd, 2008 | Tagged hosting

If you took advantage of yahoo’s 1.99 domain deal, getting a year of your domain 1.99, make sure not to fall for this scam after the year is through.  When Yahoo automatically renews your domain, they will overcharge $30 to your account, actually more like $36 for one year domain service.

Keep in mind that any service like Yahoo offer a “sweet deal” usually has a catch later.  If you got stuck with Yahoo and discover the charge, they will cancel with no problem, as long as you don’t wait too long.

I’d also recommend turning off domain renewall, or better yet, changing your credit card so they can’t charge you again.
