You have a blog, but not realize how something unintentional can kill your blogs ranking in just a few easy steps.  Want to wreck your blog, and kill your traffic? Here’s how:

1. Change your domain: Congratulations, you have really killed your blog in one move.  All those links you’ve gotten indexed in Google over the months, are all now invalid.  Pages of your blog now indexed in Google? Probably 0.

2. Change the url’s of your posts: Sure you thought free-stuff-online.html should be renamed to free-online.html.  But, whoops? Yep Google doesn’t care about this new link just about the old one, which is no longer invalid.

3. Not backing up your blog: Whoops you didn’t backup any old posts and presto you lost all your work from some hacker.  What are you going to do? Nothing, it’s gone.  SAVE YOUR WORK, BACKUP YOUR BLOG.

4. Letting anyone comment on your blog: Congratulations you now have a ton of spam links from spammers ruining your page ran in Google and probably even getting you taken out of the Google search engine completely. Whoops…

5. Taking obviously, non related paid posts: Yep it might have paid off now… but in the long run?  Nope, it’s rather a great way to kill your page rank!
