When I first started blogging, the writing speed for my blogs was honestly slow. It took me up to one hour to write one blog post, which included research, typing, and preparing for my blog post. Last night, having had to pay for internet at 1.50 euro per hour, I was able to increase my blogging post to 6 posts and hour, including research for new posts, writing, and publishing.
How I increased my Blog Writing Speed
1. With experience. The more you write, the faster you will become. Everyone started out slow typing on a keyboard. The more you do something (practice) the better you will get.
2. Having a source of information. Where do you research your blog topics? Since the time I started blogging, I’ve been subscribing to the feeds of blogs with similar topics. In my iGoogle I have about 20 different feeds I can read from, get idea from, and decide what to write my next post about.
3. Timing yourself. Time yourself each day. Set a goal, and move toward improving your blogging post speed each day.
4. Putting yourself under pressure. I’ve had best increase in blog writing speed when I’ve been under pressure. For whatever reason I’ve had only a half hour to write my blog posts, or barely any internet access, I’ve been able to blog like a pro.
Increasing your blog writing speed takes time, but whether your take measures to increase your blog speed or not, it will happen. All it takes is time, practice, and patience, and you will gradually notice an increase in the speed that you can write your blog posts.
