I’ve lost my Google Page Rank sometime ago, even a few months ago, yet the fact that I lost my Google PageRank doesn’t seem to be hurting my blogs as much as you would think. For those who don’t know, Google PageRank, is like the rating of trust that Google gives your site, as well as a ranking of a site that is well linked to by other websites and the higher the Google Page Rank a site has, usually the better results it will get in Google’s search engine.
Living with no Google Page Rank
There are a number of reasons I probably lost my previous Google Pagerank of 4. I used to take paid reviews, paid links, and for awhile I wasn’t focused on getting links to my blog. So one day Google slapped me with a 0, and it has yet to return.
Has this effected my search rankings? Not really. Even with a Google Page Rank of zero, I still managed some of the top results for certain keywords.
Google Page Rank Lost It’s Importance?
In some ways I would say that a Google Page Rank is overrated. As long as Google is still indexing your website, you can still manage top results. Just follow other SEO strategies, and if your Page Rank still doesn’t increase, don’t worry. I still manage 4k a month on just this blog alone with no page rank.
