Winter depression effects many due to the lack of sun, the fact that in the winter it is really cold outside, and for some seasonal depression is a real problem.
Using a Light Box
One way to fight winter depression is simply through something called a light box. This light box is usually for people who have season winter depression and need to get exposed to 10,000 Lumens of nice UV ligtening. (Check out the guide via this link)
Tanning Away Your Depression
Tanning booths are supposedly also a great way to fight the winter depression feeling. It’s all about UV rays. Supplementing Vitamin D may have a profoundly positive effect of seasonal depression.

I for one am thankful that I live in South Africa, enjoying summer right now. Our winters are also very benign, with plentiful sunlight, so no vitamin D synthesis issues this side! Hope your gloomy weather gets better soon!
