Ok the title of this get rich post is a bit deceiving.  My whole getting rich now post is more a guide on why you are already rich. Since so many people get frustrated trying to make it “rich” by blogging, I’m dedicating a few posts each month to just why you are already rich.  Richer than you might think.

Some figures: 1% of the world population has a college degree. If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace … you are among the top 8% of the world’s wealthy. Just by owning a computer you are one of the richest people on the planet.

Seems fair? Not really. It is so easy to get caught in our own lives of who owns what and what we want vs what we really need, it is easy to forget about the rest of the starving planet. Even just working at Mc Donald’s means you have one of the best paying jobs in the world, compared to those starving billions.

How about instead of feeling unhappy about what you don’t have, appreciate what you do have, any maybe even reduce that? So yes, you are already rich, just be being able to read this post.
