Just recently the Kindle 2 was released for preordering on Amazon.com. Now the Kindle got a whole lot better with edition 2 of the Kindle series. The $359 Kindle 2 is available for pre-order starting today, and will ship February 24.
Kindle 2 New Features
The 2nd Kindle features plenty of new features. 16 shades of gray, compared to the 4 shades, 2GB of memory compared to 180mb on board on the last device. Even better is the brand new feature in which Kindle 2 will actually read to you in a male or female voice. Lastly, the Kindle 2 feature 25% more battery life, something which I’ve heard can last up to two weeks without a charge.
With a thinner design, more features, and a pricetag about that of a cheap laptop, Kindle 2 seems like a great way to reduce all those books taking up the bookshelf.

People should wait and not spend their money right away for this. The price on this like the Iphone and any electronic device will go down. Why get it when it first comes out. It is just plain stupid. Greg Ellison

Looks good, but my guess it at $359 it is a little to pricey.
