If you wanted to comment on blogs, there are a few techniques I use to make sure that you actually post your comments on blog articles that are actually relevant to your blog. Posting on just on any blog article is going to going to help you minimally in comparison to posting on blogs that actually are related to what you write about on your blog.
Google.com/BlogSearch – This is a great way to find recently written blog articles that have to deal with anything relevant to what you write about.
Google.com/Alerts – This is a great way to make sure you are alerted to any new articles that pop up about any certain keywords. I use it because it automatically creates me a list of the latest blog articles on the web each day about the keywords I specify.
It is helpful to continue to comment on blogs each day just to spread your links across the web. Slowly but surely your campaign will build on itself and help you in the present and the future. It’s one of the best ways to get a blog going without spending any money on advertising.

Good advice you’re offering here. I usually do the rounds on a set number of favourite blogs, but will definitely look at implementing some of your methodology too, just to broaden the horizons a bit!
