Here is my chance to self promote my new Cake Recipe blog. Well we will call it “new” since it’s been around I’ve just been giving it a chance to get indexed by Google before I put any real effort into it.
So yes, my new blogging attempt is to write about cake recipes. Why Cake Recipes you ask? After a little research using the SEO Book’s keyword research tool, I discovered that it would be worth a shot. There are plenty of people each day searching for cake recipes like Sponge Cake Recipe, 1,011 according to the SEO Book tool.
Then I looked at Google Trends and saw that even Google reported that there was a good enough amount of traffic towards the keywords Cake Recipe.
Then I made sure I could buy a decent domain. After pondering for awhile I settled on CakeRecipe.info. It is short and easy to remember. The goal? Turn this into a great destination for Cake Recipes.
