The Blogging Tax Blues, Taxes from Your Blog
Published by admin on March 18th, 2009 | Tagged Blogging

So I paid all my taxes for blogging and yes it is that time when the Government finally cashed my checks for the taxes I paid, something which made a nice dent into my savings. Sure we do have to pay taxes on everything from blogging to yard work, it makes the Government function, but that doesn’t mean we can’t feel a little sad about it when the Government reaches their hands in and takes our ;money.

Tax things to consider if you live solely from your blog:
1. You might need to pay quarterly. I pay quarterly based on the estimated earnings for every 3 months.
2. Self employed tax – A new tax to me is the self employment tax I have to pay for being self employed.
3. Adsense is not tax free – Yes you have to pay taxes on your Adsense earnings as well as any ad company you use.

Unless you live somewhere like Monaco, lucky, you yes have to pay taxes every year.
