Travel Blogging, My Travels When Blogging

Despite the economic downturn I’ve decided to start traveling full time for the next year or until I decide to stop. I’ve been preparing for my travel blogging for quite sometime, getting the tools necessary to constantly live on the road and travel at the same time.

My Tools for Travel Blogging
Laptop – Asus EEE Pc 1000 HE – The new model that gets 9.5 hours on a single charge, at least when you use basic functions such as word processor.
Transportation – 8 Speed Fold Up Bike from DownTube. I paid $300 for it but it is well worth the cost concerning that I can take a bike for easy transportation wherever I go.
Travel Bags – Comanche 2000 Hiking Bag. There are perfect for wearing on your back when traveling place to place. Holds all my stuff.
GPS/Phone – GloFiish M700 with built in GPS. I’ve installed Tom Tom as well as North American and Western Europe Maps for getting around easily. This thing really helps get rid of that feeling of being lost. Plus with quadband support I can use to make calls anywhere.

Other Accessories
Light Weight Travel Pillow (half the size of a normal)
MSR PackTowl – a very tiny very absorbent towel.
Clothes – Everything from dress shirts to t-shirts.
Cooking – I plan to take just a few minor essentials. Most of these tools can be found in hostels or cheap disposable knives and forks in fast food restaurants.

Goals for my travel blogging? Meet interesting people. Do interesting things and finally find somewhere I want to stay for the long haul.

Recommendations? Let me know where I should go and maybe I will.
