One of the reasons I needed to increase my blogging speed is because when I travel, I want to get out and see the sights and not spend my time indoors blogging. Even while I can sit and the beach and start blogging, I still want to constantly increase the speed in which I finish my blogging.
The Pareto Principle says that 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes. So 80% of your traffic probably comes from 20% of the work that you do. This means that 80% of what you do, probably only helps you get a mere 20% of what you do. So why not focus on the 20% you do best, since this gets your most of your income?
Things included that don’t help your blogging speed are things like checking your email, checking post comments, answernig phone calls. These are area to start increasing your speed, by doing them less often.
Other logical thoughts to the Pareto Rule include the fact that probably 80% of your blog traffic comes from 20% of your posts. That means if you focus on the 20% of the posts that get your the most traffic, you probably can also increase your traffic even more and save less time writing posts that contribute to only the mere 20% of your traffic.
