Dot Info Vs Dot Com Domain Names, Which Is Better?

I’ve been monitoring the progress between dot info domains vs dot com domains, and wihle I thought there wouldn’t be a difference, I am finding out that still dot Com domains still outweight those cheap Dot Info domain names.  Sure you pay 99 cents for a dot info domain per year, but you can buy a pack of 10 razors for a dollar at the dollar store too.  The razors suck and take forever to shave with, and I’m finding out that about the Dot Info domains as well, you just can’t build these sites up as fast as Dot Com domain names.

The Dot Com domains seem to get indexed faster, end up with a higher page rank, and take altogether less effort. In the end I’d recommend spending the extra cash, even if you found a better .info domain name.  In the end, it’s worth it.

Reasons A Blog Comment Was Not Approved

Did your comment on my blog not show up? There are plenty of reasons why your comment on my blog was not approved.  It could have been one of the following reasons:

1. Your commentor name was somewhere along the lines of Dentists Work Miami or WOW Gold.  Sorry your comment probably sucked and I don’t want a bunch of back links to these unrelated.  Nice try at SEO, or not.

2. Your comment was irrelevant or extremely generic.  Nice blog post doesn’t cut it as a comment.

3. You swore in your comment and I was too lazy to edit it out.

4. I accidently deleted, or I just decided I just won’t approve this for whatever strange reason.

How To Get Free Internet Wifi Anywhere

Every city seems to offer free wifi.  In New York City I was often able to pick up free internet wifi, rather than paying $2 per 10 minutes for it at a cafe.  Often then not all it takes to find free internet wifi is opening up your laptop in a residential area and finding any wifi connections that are not secured.  Even in this day and age there are tons of people who don’t protect their wifi connection and leave it open.  I have yet to find a city without a free wifi connection.

Other methods of getting a free internet wifi is remaining anywhere near an internet cafe, anything but Starbucks.  Starbucks has some special agreement with AT&T making you have to pay for a monthly service fee.  I prefer  internet cafes that are not a massive chain.  These usually all have free internet, often open signals.  If you do need a password, just order a coffee, or if you really are cheap just walk in sit down and ask someone what the password is.

Other ways to find free internet wifi include driving around slowly, hitting refresh on your list of possible internet conections, or even easier is trying Jwire to find an internet connection near you.

Fake It Until You Make It

How many bloggers are truthful about what they say?  Some bloggers claim they make thousands a month, though they probably only make a couple dollars.  They suppose that by faking it, they will attract a large enough audience to eventually make it.  I’ve seen this fake it and make it strategy with plenty of bloggers.

There are the bloggers that tell you how to make money online, though they themselves have enough problems making money online. It’s like me teaching you how to ski when I don’t know how to ski.

Basically, sometimes you can fake it, as long as you do it well enough and eventually make it.  Just make sure if you are faking it, you aren’t telling people something critical like how to operate on someone, or underwater scuba diving, lets play it safe :) .
