I arrived at the Cambie Hostel on Cambie Street in Vancouver yesterday around 6 pm. After just arriving, this hostel in Vancouver was already packed with young adults drinking, eating and being loud. With that being said, the Cambie Hostel on Cambie Street is not for those looking to get any sleep before 2 am.
The hostel itself is alright for the price of $24 canadian a night. The bathrooms are in a state of disrepair and the rooms are more like something you’d expect from a one star hotel. Still, friendly people and bringing your own pillow and possibly sheets can make this place seem cozy enough.
Breakfast is given free at the Cambie Hostel, which includes a large muffin and a large organic fair trade coffee, which would delight any coffee drinker. For $2.50 canadian more you can upgrade to a full eggs, bacon breakfast (not a bad deal).
So my review for the Cambbie Hostel on Cambie Street in Vancouver? If you want to sleep early each night, don’t stay here. If you came to Vancouver to party and don’t mind a little dirt and grime, this might be your place.

This is my biggest fear of staying in back packers or hostels one just never knows what they are in for, I stayed in a back packers in Cape Town once and I was very lucky, it was inexpensive and very clean and the atmosphere was just great with great service, sorry to see that your stay wasn’t that great.
