When it comes to SEO, it is important none the less, but I’ve generally tried to stay away from Blackhat Methods. and focused more on just content that yields a high ecpm (earning per thousand). The best method seems to be finding tthat niche that is popular, yet doesn’t have a ton of competitors. Whenever you can find the content people want to read. yet has barely been covered, you’re golden to get an easy high seo with having to deal with a lot less competition. Once competition does fianlly catch on, you’ll already have established yourself as a trustworthy source of content on that specific niche market.
What Areas Yield a High ECPM With White hat SEO?
When it comes to ECPM, some of the highest that I’ve noticed are those categories that are more of a luxury than a necessity. Take vacations for example. Often hotels can spend a lot more on adwords because their profit margins per customer are higher than say for ads related to kellogs cheerios. Hostels and vacation resorts often also do a lot more advertising on the intnernet compared to most companies. Other categories like lawyers and doctors pay also a high ecpm.
Think about ecpm and traffic in this sense. If you get an ecpm (earning per one thousand impressions) of $30, or an ecpm of $10, it would take 3 times as much traffic on the $10 ecpm website as the $30 ecpm site to earn the same amount. That means working 3 times as hard to do the same work.
