How do you manage your cash while  living solely from Google Adsense? I make sure that I have enough savings so that I never have to rely on waiting for an incoming Google Adsense or Infolinks check.  Though Google Adsense pays on a monthly basis, your income can fluctuate since and it’s not a good idea to become reliant on your Google Adsense income.  If something happens to your websites or blog and you don’t have any income coming in, you won’t have any way to pay for your various credit card bills.

I make sure to keep a 3 month buffer zone with my Adsense income.  That means that I keep 3 x my monthly income saved up in case something should happen. That would give me three months to find another source of income without having to worry about paying my bills.  In reality however, I keep a 1 year buffer zone, enough money in fluid cash so that if something should happen, I have got one year to get myself back on my feet.

Start decrease your needs for a a few months.  Instead of going out to eat, cook it yourself.  Mix in a lot of rice into your meals.  Ride your bike instead of drive (I don’t even own a  car.) Or any even easier solution… get a second job.  It isn’t the end of the world to work a second job, which could be as little as 10 hours a week.  Plus working 10 hours a week gives you something extra to do.

When you want to start being flexible like I am, online banking is the best solution.  I manage all of my money using online banking.  ATMS and internet banking become my best friends wherever I am.  Even my taxes are done online.  As long as I remember to log in to my credit card website once a month there is no reason why I would ever need to go home.
